Before the Fog

▼ Rin is 5'2½" and 21 years old.

▸ Her Wiki gives her "average" height and 5'2½" is the average height for women in Japan.
▸ Devs have stated all characters are 21+ and Rin is university age.

▼ Rin worked as a hostess while she attended university.

▸ From her base lore and character histroy, we know that the evening her mother was killed she "came home from work. She'd stayed late to entertain customers that lingered at the restaurant."

▼ She was part of the softball team in high school.

▸ One of her add-ons is a High School sports cap with her name sewn on it. This implies she was involved with sports in some fashion in High School.
▸We know from Tome II she was taking kendo classes.

▼ Her bamboo comb came from her grandmother.

As The Spirit

▼ When she moves the glass embedded in her body still cuts and digs into her.

▼ Normally in the etheral plane, one wouldn't be able to detect anything of the living, however her desire for vengeance and blood allows her to see the scratch marks and blood of survivors during Yamaoka's Haunting.

▼ She both loves and hates the Yamaoka Estate in the Realm. In some ways it's home and a connection to a life that she one had, but it also holds terrible memories.

▼ Rin can occasionally be found trying to clean the blood of her mother's murder off the floor and walls. No matter how hard she tries, it doesn't go away.

▼ She feels indebted to the Entity for giving her the ability to exact revenge, but feels anxious that she hasn't been able to properly face her father.

▼ Because Rin's vengeance was reserved for her father--and her reason for answering the Entity's call--she initially didn't see the point of hunting down survivors, even to appease the Entity. However her rage and violent tendencies were easy to coax out, especially by use of the Obession. They become a singular channel for her wrath.

▸ Her unique perk Rancor allows Rin to instantly kill her Obession once all the generators are completed.
